We’ve seen this strip of Roosevelt transform over the past decade and the addition of Taco Chelo was the taqueria we didn’t know it so obviously needed! Chef Suny Santana named Taco Chelo after his mother Chelo, and this adoration for her also shines through in the food. Art by beloved artist Genarro Garcia vibrantly fills the space and Aerin Chamberlin delivers his knack for keeping Arizona restaurants true to the neighborhood they adorn.
